Authors Note- This poem is about delicious cookies that you eat at Christmas time.
Christmas cookies are so sweet,
Snicker doodles, peanut butter, and chocolate chip;
They sizzle in the ovens’ heat.
Every heavenly bite is a taste of joy,
With frosting or sprinkles;
It’s even better than a new toy.
I scarf them down on Christmas Eve,
Big or small;
Better than any kiss under the mistletoe I shall receive.
